What is the difference between Matrix Glazes and 2-Part Epoxy Floor Paint?
Matrix Glazes are not epoxy paints. They are patent pending Aliphatic Urethanes that are engineered for
UV stability and Durability.
What is the typical preparation for applying the Matrix Glaze to a garage floor?
A good degreaser and power washing the garage floor is typically all the cleaning required for the surface. Unlike epoxy floor paints, acid etching is not required for bare garage floors.
What is the typical cure time for the Matrix Glaze before I may walk on the floor?
Technically, you may use your new floor the same day the coating has been applied. We do recommend waiting 24 hours before driving any vehicle on your new floor surface.
What other surfaces can be coated with Matrix glazes?
The Matrix glazes are great for interior, exterior, and underwater surfaces. The Matrix glazes can be applied to concrete, wood, fiberglass, metal, tile and more.
How many colors of Matrix floor coatings may I choose from?
There are over 200 colors, at no extra charge, on our color chart. We can also color-match and create custom colors for you for an additional one-time setup charge.
How long will it take to complete the Matrix process on my floor?
Most jobs are completed within two (2) days. Weather may influence drying times.
